H.R.I Cadets button

[Sniffy]

Here's my keepers from the last 2 short hunts. The H.R.I Cadets button was a real treat seeing the glimmering gilt shining in the sun. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know it's from the Hudson River Institute (Scovills Waterbury backmark) but I couldnt' find this particular button...Also pictured are 4 flat buttons, a 1864 Indian Head Cent (first fatty after a million of them!), and a letter seal...3 different sites. Thanks for lookin!

at first glance I thought a Hudson River Institute, a military school established in NY in 1854 but it's different then the other buttons that I've seen from that school....

OHHHHHH...duh...Unfortunately it's missing the actual seal. All of the wax seals I have found do not have the seals in them. Bummer.
