Hey guys, went to the Black Diamond club hunt today with my son and it was a blast. Nice to be around a bunch of friendly guys who enjoy the hobby. They put on a nice hunt for the kids which i thought was pretty cool. Even though it was a seeded hunt, my son and I probly had the best time weve had yet since starting this hobby. We won a few neat prizes such as this Silver 1982 washington commemorative half dollar washington 2 side.webp and this 1978 Eisenhower Dollar in a nice case celebrating the moon landing from the apollo 11dollar 2 side.webpand this cool big buffalo coin which is a copy but still neatbig buff 2 side.webp. Scored 13 silvers. got 10 rosies, dated: 1964 (5) 1961,1956,1957,1950,1946, a merc 1945, a 1943 war nickel, and a 1963 canadian dimesilvers.webp. got a nice little tribe of injuns dated: 1888(2), 1884, 1897,1903,1909, and a heavily polished 1905injuns.webp. We rounded up a nice herd of buffalos as well dated: 1936 (2), 1935, 1934 (heavily polished), and unidentifiable dates (5)the herd.webp Also got my favorite of the day: 5 v Nickels dated: 1896, 1897, 1906, 1889, and a worn/unidentifiable vnickels.webp. 21 wheats from every decade they were in circulationwheats.webp Also found this fake reale which got the heart pumpin at firstfake reale.webp. Got some copper bullion and these other big coins, A dollar and a half dollar dated: 1977 for the dollar and 1984 for the halfbig stuff.webp Like i said, it was a seeded hunt but a blast non the less. Good time spent with my son and in the company of good people, cant ask for much more than that!! THanks for looking and HH!!:headbang: Some neat tokens below also

Looks like a fun day with some nice finds to take home.

bet he really loved the hunt!

That buffalo is National Collectors Mint I think. I see them advertised on tv being "REAL GOLD" and 1 ounce of gold is over 1,600.00 and it's clad in 14 MGS. But 1982 washington looks great! Nice silver scores.

yeah i knew it was clad, worth about 20 bucks on their site, i think id have a heart attack if it was real

Those hunts are fun and glad your son is into it. Makes a good time into a great time! I also won the same commemorative half dollar coin at a seeded hunt, a beautiful coin!

ok i committed the ultimate collector sin, I polished a few of our coins from this hunt just to see how theyd come out, i gotta say im impressed, even though i probly killed the value of them im not too worried, they werent worth a whole lot anyway and im never selling them so no biggie
