Had a good day creekin'!

Went to a creek close to my folks house with the wifey and had a good little 2 hour hunt. The first one is a heartbreaker birdie that is made from some killer material. The second one wifey found and is missing the base. And the third one is a killer red banded point that is super thin and well made. It has a knick out of the tip, but it's still a keeper. I am not sure the type though. Found in S.E. Nebraska.

Looks like that creek is the place to be. Nice points!

Awesome Finds! :icon_thumleft: That last one looks like a Oxbow point.

Real nice finds:thumbsup: and I would stay in that creek.

You had a good hunt. Thanks for sharing.

You guys sure have a lot of nice gravel bars down through Nebraska!

Nice finds neighbor!

The first one looks like Jasper. You did have a nice looking hunt.

The creek is pretty sweet, but I am amped to get into the fields above the creek next spring. It should produce nicely.

Can anyone identify the lithic used on the Oxbow? I didn't even notice the banding until I wet it down and looked at it in the sun. Here is a better pic of the color and a shot of how thin it is. Thanks in advance....

rub some mineral oil on it and it will stay that way for a couple of days.
