This was the strangest place I think I've ever hunted. Not because of the cats. I bought a Deus about a month ago. Since I have been using it nearly every single wheat penny hit a solid 88 TID. Any lower and it is going to be a Memorial penny. If it is jumping between 86-87-88 or 87-88 it is generally a Memorial penny. A solid 89 is nearly always a clad dime, while a solid 90 is always a silver dime (unless it's trash). Well at this place (even though the mineralization in the soil was normal for this area) every solid 88 I dug was a Memorial penny. They were even showing up when the TID was between 88-89 which amazed me. I dug 3 clad dimes that were hitting 90-91 and these should definitely have been silver. Anyway I hope this is just a one time thing or I'm gonna have some problems.
