Got out for the better part of the day to re-check a couple new permissions and hit one new field. The cows had staked their claim to new permission #1 so we headed to a new site we just got permission for. Finds we're scarce but the quality was enough to keep us there. One of the first targets there was the half of the 2 piece military buckle...unfortunately the wrong half. Spent rhe next couple hours trying to find the other half but no luck...but I will certainly be back there again to keep looking. I did pick up the Victorian trade weight from the same area so that took the sting out of not finding the other half of the buckle. Looking forward to getting back there to try again!

Congratulations on the Wreath. That's an awesome and rare find. I've been detecting for 23 years and haven't found a wreath before. In my book that count's as a plate.
Have you been able to identify what tongue fits the wreath?
