This is a brass piece that rang up as a 19 on the Nox. Found at a site where I have found over 100 flat buttons, tombacs and pewter buttons and state coppers in W PA. Most artifacts have been 1780-1810. There is a more modern cellar hole nearby in the woods as well.
It is the diameter of a half dollar and the brass is thicker than a typical dandy button, maybe as thick as a worn KG.
Does anyone recognize what this is?
