Got out for a couple of hours with ND.
Targets sparce, but again just lucky to find a spot.
Got a half dozen buttons out of the iron, and not all plain flats.
And a first for me of this New Brunswick half penny token.

Nice buttons, and I love the token. What sort of date would it be?

Right on Rick!
If you can find a small handful of buttons and a coin or two you didn't strike out!
Keep an eye open for a hay field , I've been known to follow a trail of fresh hay on the edge of a road all the way back to a nicely mowed field, it's about the best a fella can do some days in the summer

Way to go, Rick! I have only found one of those bad boys. Yours is in much better shape.

Congrats on the killer hunt.

Love that ship design on your token Rick. Glad you were able to get out and scrounge up a few finds.

Really cool token. I'll google the history on it since you were too lazy to provide a link [emoji1]. I hope to see more great finds from you this summer.

Ohh Man you caught me ..I am lazy, but today I was in squirrell mode, chopping, and splitting wood mode for the next coming winter.

I'll tell you this the token was anonymously made, and that there is a variety of a mispelling of "St, John's" that there are two know of.............too bad I didn't find that one, and then I would have provided more info....
