Hallmark or Design?

Found this glass piece on a beach a wee back. I am not sure if this is part of a hallmark or design. Was hoping that maybe someone here may have an idea/suggestion/thought. From the shape of the piece of glass I get the impression it is located on the buttom, not the front/rear. Then again

I've seen that image before, but at the moment can't put my finger on where. I believe the entire image is of a "Spanish Conquistador" wearing armor, and is quite old. If I find anything I will let you know.
