Halvah
1 cup olive oil 2 cups Semolina(cream of Wheat)
1 cup od honey 1/2 cup of rosewater
1/2 teaspoon Saffron 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
1 cup water 1/4 cup crushed toasted almonds
Cook Semolina in water until well done. Heat oil, Saffron
and honey.Stir in rosewater, and sesame seeds
Add to Semolina mixture,stirring constantly until it thickens
Pour onto a greased form. Sprinkle crushed almonds on top.
Cut into squares as soon as it is cooled.
optional-Sprinkle with cinnamon and or add chopped figs or dates
