Looking good! Funny, the english coins seem to be better silver than the foreign one. Can you make out some of the letters on it?

English hammered from that period, set the standard for their silver content. They were a currency that was trusted throughout Europe. Can't really make too much sense of the legend Westfront.
 

Nice cleaning job! Any idea of the age if the foreign coin?
 

The shield and cross on the foreign coin look Portuguese to me.
 

Great finds, and looking forward to the ID of the big one. The one up top is a beautiful example.
