Hammerstone?

Found this rock (hopefully a hammerstone, maybe a grinder of some sort).
Very smooth/polished, has condensed contact marks in certain places (see pictures).
The protrusion makes me think that this is/was a tool. Let me know what you think...

I don't see anything that makes me think, that it is anything, more than a natural rock.

While it certainly could have been used as a hammer, it has no marks to indicate its nothing other than an ordinary rock. I see no evidence of it being worked or shaped.

Okay thanks for the feedback Jason, can you take another look at the 4th picture? That is where I thought it was shaped (where the rock gets smaller...southwards). At the end of that tip, there is a lot of contact marks as if that part was used as a grinder or hammer of some sort.
