Hello All!

I am an avid hunter of artifacts and I just moved to Cape Cod.

I was walking a beach on the Cape Cod Bay and found this in a gravel pile. It looks heavily flaked on one side with minor flaking on the back side. I think it might be a hand axe.

What do you all think?

Thank you.

I'd say mother nature created that piece by moving water tossing it around for hundreds/thousands of years--not by human hands. There are no crisp deltas on the piece--just smooth ones from erosion. Lots of cortex left on one side too. JMHO
