Hand carved art vase - help with info

Hi, Does anyone have any info on these 2 hand carved vase/pottery? I brought this at a garage sale and was wondering the value of these and where its from...Polish art? Any info would be helpful ....thanks

Actually the vase and its applied, raised decorations on the sides are made of blown glass and the designs on the vase are etched. The lidded dish is an extremely nice piece known as "Byrdes, or Birdie Crystal". Here's why it's called that and some background.
