Those are beautiful!! I've never "knapped", in laymen terms, how do you do that??? I have alot of "obsiedien here and would like to try that in my spare time-----which is all the time :thumbsup: Idig

We had a guy demonstrate at a treasure club meeting...was really cool to watch. I looked and found some videos on how do flint knapping that might give you some ideas where to start. Have fun and bring your points to the outting in June! :D
 

Just passing some info on:
Flintknapping is done by percussion flaking and pressure flaking. You can use antler tools or copper tools also.
YouTube has a lot of videos under flintknapping. That is a good way to get started. There is also a nice site on paleo planet for flintknapping from beginner to expert. Thanks for looking at the pics.
