I got out with a couple buds today to a couple new spots which had (have) some serious potential. We were contending with the rain and electric fences for most of the day but we were rewarded with just enough to warrant a return visit. The spigot is probably 1700s and the buckle, I am told, could be as early as the 1600s...

I'm looking forward to heading back for another kick at the can!

Actually it was just announced today that the borders are closed to our American friends for metal detecting...they have to be content with their Rev War and Civil War sites... ;D

...now about me hunting in the US...a different story... ;D
