McSherrystown is practically part of Hanover. It could be the same cache. Then again, there are rumors of caches all over the area along the marching routes during the Gettysburg campaign.

There was a battle in Hanover that was key to delaying J.E.B. Stuart in meeting Lee in Gettysburg. If that battle had not happened, Gettysburg may not have been won by the Union.
