Holy crap, I found the most beautiful celt I,ve ever seen!! Loggers were clearing off A tract of land next to my buddies farm. When I laid my eyes on this under a tree with the roots exposed I started crying,I mean I looked up tp the sky and screamed THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!! This baby is over seven inches long and three inches wide and this is not all we found!! We are heading back in the morning,I,m calling in to work. UNBEIEVABLE, PERFECT, WHAT A POLISH,I T DON,T GET ANY BETTER I THINK!

I may be wrong but I have a good feelin about this place. My friend and I used to find some things on this hill overlooking river about twenty years ago.My buddy don,t own farm ,he lives there rent free just for watching the old farmhouse and tractors. There used to be over a hundred acres plowed here years ago. Bull dozers cut a road out right along top of hill to get the log trucks in and out. WE found six nice pcs. all together and it got dark on us. We will be there when the sun rises tomorrow for certain.

Thanks Bean I have been on a roll and am hoping for more tomorrow!I think I really do have the spot now. i,LL POST MORE PICS, We found ,or he did I should say a large broken Adena,perfect drill and I found a really cool Adena,banded washed out of the road as well. I owe so much to my buddy but got him started years ago and he has a great collection.

It is 5:30 a.m. It feels like I,m heading out deer hunting. Going to be there before loggers this morning for a Halloween Artifact Hunt. Lookking for the big buck lol.

I can understand the reason for your glee.....Excellent piece.

Now, take it from me....it is exceedingly unlikely that piece is by itself....I would be willing to bet you that there will be other nice stuff associated with it. Most likely a burial or more. A good rain is what you need to bring out the artifacts....get ready to do your 'happy dance' I got a good feeling you will have need of it.

I,m going to take some better pics with my girlfriends digital camera.All I have is this cheap web cam. The material is green speckled,but I seem to usually be wrong on here.I,d say granite for what it is worth. The main thing,It is Native American made,a true pc. of art.

You were right, these were found after a good rain which we have only seen rain five times since april.
