Happy 4th - quick hunt - 60's decor

I'm stuck behind the barbecue today, so I thought I'd sneak out early for a quick hunt.
Nothing exciting, but I found enough clad at a tot lot to buy another battery. The quarters were generous today.

I dug the large 6" square head nail/spike at the farm Friday. Largest I've ever seen.

In honor of the 4th, I pulled out my vintage 60's decor for the family barbecue today.

Now if I can just find someone to mow the lawn with that reel mower.

Saw this 1968 Firebird on the way to the tot lot. What a ride!!!

Happy 4th Folks,
MM

Hope you are not planning on using that barbecue to feed the whole gang.

Nate and I got out for a quickie today too. About an hour at my old gradeschool netted me 13 Quarters. I beat you and Nate today!

Gotta gloat now cause tomorrow it will be gone.

Also managed a merc at another school. I'm more happy about the 13 Quarters than the merc right now....go figure.

Happy 4th MM.

Bob,
You may have beat me by 4 quarters, but who got the 6" spike? Ha, ha, ha.

Hopefully I can score another Merc soon.
Happy 4th,

Nice finds MM. My Uncle used to sharpen those reel mowers. It would take him all day sometimes as he'd balance each blade; I don't think he charged that much either. When he finished with them they were easy to push and cut beautifully.
