Happy 4th - The GOLDen sand *VIDEO too!*

I went out this afternoon to drop off some of my flyers at some old country homes & farms. Hopefully I can score one or two.
On the way back I hit a volleyball area at a community college. This sand was super clean as far as trash. Not one pull tab! I found a whopping 59 cents in clad, but my best find was a 10k gold wedding band right underneath the net! I figure someone must have tried to spike that ball, and "whoops" there went the ring.
It is a size 7 wedding band with "Artcarved 10K" on the inside.
I love when you see gold staring back at you.

Doug, I hope you can land a few new farms to hunt. The permission could also lead you to other areas recommended by the landowner.

These volleyball areas seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes I walk away from one with only a coin or two. I was 15 minutes into the one today and didn't have one signal. By the time I made it to the net area I had a whopping 17 cents. Then the gold showed it's wonderful self.
The other two gold rings I found last year in a volleyball area were only about 10 feet from each other. I gridded it off, hit a ring in one row, turned around to come back on the next row, and hit the second one. That was a great day!
