Happy 4th - The GOLDen sand *VIDEO too!*

I went out this afternoon to drop off some of my flyers at some old country homes & farms. Hopefully I can score one or two.
On the way back I hit a volleyball area at a community college. This sand was super clean as far as trash. Not one pull tab! I found a whopping 59 cents in clad, but my best find was a 10k gold wedding band right underneath the net! I figure someone must have tried to spike that ball, and "whoops" there went the ring.
It is a size 7 wedding band with "Artcarved 10K" on the inside.
I love when you see gold staring back at you.

Yes, I had a problem with YOUTUBE yesterday for some reason. My computer kept freezing up, so I tried Photobucket and it worked. Weird.
I like Youtube better.

I doubt I'll get the S700 now. I was thinking it was a small slim camera like the A700 style that I could take out in the field with me. It looks like it may be a bit bulky to take with me along with my other gear.

You dog. I want a gold ring! I went out monday with the Excalibur - struck out. Of coarse I only hunted a little over an hour. But that should bring me gold, right?

That is my goal for the year - a gold ring. I guess I might try a volleyball court.
