Hey all, Tomorrow I am having cervical spine surgery so made special effort to get out today and detect one more time. The last few times have been somewhat flat for me. Being it is so cold out I decided to make it a quick trip. To start I hit a school yard and found a pretty cool neckless. Actually, looks like on of the mini CW shot on the end of it. Also found some clad but no old dates. But the really great thing about today was when I dug my 2nd 1773 King George VA 1/2 penny. This wasn't at the school but a wooden area that I had found much CW relics in. This coin is in much nicer condition than my last. Also found some iron and misc. pieces. Well, just wanted to post this and say if a guy one day prior to back surgery can get out in the cold and make this find there are no excuses for the rest.
