Dug these two little items and some clad today.I have found about 30 civil war bullets in this area. It is a yard. I can not make out the round thin brass item. It could be a lid or even a possible large button cover. There is a design and a letter maybe. I am showing both sides. Any ideas? I have found Merry widow lids there but they are tin. Maybe a keen eye will recognize what little design is left. I have never found a civil war button in this area. So I am doubting CW.
Thanks for looking and any comments.

That would make the compact about 1-1/4'' ? But it is better than what I guessed. Thank you.

Might be a small rouge container.
