Found one several years back from the 1500's. It was Iroquois indian made. Found with a detector during an archaeological dig. Made by pounding a piece of brass flat and finely rolling it. Archaeologist said as far as he knows it is a unique find. Never seen another one from that time period. It was pictured in a writeup in Western and Eastern about a year ago.
