XP Orx Deus II, 9” coil
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
For my Orx and Deus lite I have 4 coils-
11” X35
9” hi frequency
9” X35
9” x 5.5” elliptical hi frequency

I’m sure it’s one of the 9” ones but which should I keep
And which is most redundant?
I’m thinking the 9” X35 is covered by 11” same frequency range
And I am mostly a relic hunter working in wooded sites often
Iron laden. I have better luck using higher frequencies than 4 kHz
Or 8 kHz and my Nox hits that range well and soon I hope the 10x5
Elliptical coil for it will come.
Anyone have other advice?

You're probably right to unload that one, as the 11" covers the same.

Sell the one you use least.

Listen to Vferrari, but feel free to sell me the X35 9".

In my point of view Elliptical is one of the best solution for deep forest, and the 9" HF is the most versatile .
You can resell the 9" X35
How evever you still have the 11" X35 for big and flat field surface detection session.

I saw that he is selling the 9" round HF for sale on Ebay. If he had the elliptical HF for sale I would jump on it. Hope the price climbs higher than it is right now.

So do I , and it should. I love all the coils but 3 is enough. I decided the 3 that give me the most
Versatility are the 11” for when I need coverage- the 9” X35 as all purpose with its broad range of
Both low and hi frequency, and the hf elliptical with its superior separation maneuverability and the higher
Frequency range for relic hunting in dense iron.
I recently sold my equinox 6” coil- a great coil but limited usefulness with tiny footprint.
They list $179 mine sold for $205. I was surprised. Must be hard to obtain.
