I'm looking for a partner to find that jar full of gold $50 I know that's out there! I'll be just as happy finding Wheaties. I started off with my ex-father in law in SW Missouri and got bit by the bug, hard! My first time out I lucked out with a borrowed detector and found an 1813 at the site of a church that had burned down around 1880. SW Missouri was so full of history that you could always find a civil war site or abandoned farm. I am a medically retired sheriff's deputy with A LOT of time. I would love to explore some of the ghost towns in eastern Oregon. If there is anyone out east who would like a to show the ropes to a beginner I'd appreciate it, "Have MD & 4X4 will travel"
