Have you ever said...

When you are out hunting have you ever said to yourself... if can just find one more quarter I'll go home. My daily goal is 4 quarters. No matter what else I find - if I can find 4 quarters I consider it a very good day. I go to this park a lot because it is close to home and if I'm needed I can get home fast. So while my hubby was sleeping this morning I went hunting. I got 3 this morning right off the bat. Finally I said "If I can just find one more quarter I'll go home." I DID! Didn't find a lot but came home with $2.02, and the usual junk of can slaw pieces, a battery, a pencil top and a couple pt's. It all adds up in the long run. I'll take it!

Mumzie,way to go! I try to find a minimum of 40 quarters and 100 dimes evey week,I usually make it. try kicking your goal up a little once in a while. HH Kane23

hmmm maybe you should say "If I could just find one gold ring" Sounds like you had fun and found some goodies! Did better than I did last trip out that is for sure! Congrats!

Kane I don't have a chance in H*** of finding the amounts you find. I can only hunt pretty close to home at parks that are pretty well pounded by other hunters. Plus the fact I can not hunt for long periods of time. Can't be away from the house that long, so 1-2 hours a hunt is about my limit. I have a sick hubby at home - well not sick but handicapped. I can't leave him for long. Anyway I count my self lucky for what I do find for the time I spend hunting. I LOVE to see the goodies the rest of you guys n gals find so keep posting them!
