It was my dads he had it as long as I can remember he past five years ago I was down in the basement at my moms and it was in a box she told me to take it cuz I've been searching for bottles and have over 150 now. My dad had a few and I've always had a thing for them just didn't go looking for them till this year

You might as well drink up kaleb.Once whiskey is in the bottle it no longer ages.It has to stay in the original barrel.

Not a bit. Wine can age very well, depending on variety, integrity of the seal, etcetera.

how old is it from your research ? here is a 1972 bottle that was already 8 yrs. old , and it came with a 1965 fifth of rico rum
