An elderly Swedish man, Sven-Olof Svensson, 81, always read his local paper, especially the obituary, probably looking for names of other old folks who may have died. And, recently, he did find the name of someone he’d never expected to read about, 81-year-old Sven-Olof Svensson .. himself. It had been posted prematurely by his 90-year-old sister during his last hospital stay, when she thought he was a goner.

Robert Duvall and Bill Murray have a good movie ( called Get Low ) that sort of follows this predicament. RD has his funeral done while he is living and well. Pretty good period movie.
