Headphone Jack for Dfx

that's weird.... I tried out a DFX and plugged right in with a standard 1/4" jack. Maybe the contact piece on the inside is bent or broke? If not, you can get a headphone jack really cheap and solder or crimp it in yourself.

They are stereo headphones. I will try the 1/4" adaptor and see what happens. I have been using the machine without the headphones and can't see where I'm missing anything. What should I expect in performance improvement with a headphone?

The headphones allow you to hear the faint signals that normaly indicates a deep target that might not register. This is especially handy on the beach with the sand shifting and such....

Thanks all. I picked up the adaptor and started using the headphones. After getting used to the cords, I do hear the sounds better. It also keeps me focused.
