I stop a few days a week on the way home from work and knock out some clad in Briscoe Park in Snellville, GA. I've been hunting in here for 20 + years and never had a problem, untill last week when I was accousted by a guy who told me that metal detecting was forbidden there. After a bit of conversation with him, he told me to go ahead and hunt, but just be careful. I left immediately that day, and only went back today, Fri. 8/15. I saw evidence of other diggers today, and did some detecting myself, just be aware that this guy is a new hire and seems out to make a name for himself, so be careful. He said he was down from Virgina Beach, and was with the Sporting and Atheletic dept. of the Park, he drives a dark SUV with a divers flag on the front bumper. Good luck digging! Slingshot.
