Just a friendly reminder to keep your eye on the Gulf, My buddy is a meteorologist for Continental airlines and this one has him a bit worried.
It still have many variables to get here but just have a plan by Sunday. All up in the air -

The gulf is warm and it has a lot of room to become a VERY strong storm.

Never to early to start preparing. Some of us have seen what they can do.

I will never ride another one out after the last one. No Gas, No Power, Freeways closed, the list goes on.

I am watching it as well and got all of you on my prayer list as well. Judie is hidin behind some trees...I would be afraid they would fall over and crush me like a bug....now if you guys would just come to Oregon you would be safe dagnabbit!! >:( :tongue3:

Oregon sounds great!!! We just got power back on today.........i think 11 days with out...........people! please dont take your electricity for granted!!!! BUT, we are alive and well, no damage on our home........and looks like this "Ike" storm is hitting Texas, I feel for you guys.....prayers and well wishes, Shane and Angela
