If you're ever out alone on a moon-less night near the village we hunt, you might hear the blood curdling wail of the devil - because I got his tail. lol I spotted about 3/4" of the broken end of it sticking out of the ground (note the lighter color where it's been exposed for some time) and pulled out this piece of shaped elk antler. I spotted the little chert point while looking for the broke off part. It was the same with the antler flaker, just the back end out of the ground.
I know some have asked before about the condition of the bone items we find here. In this area as long as bone stays in the ground it deteriorates very little. Once exposed to sunlight and the elements it begins to break down. These pieces are good examples.
