Hello 1800's My First!!!!

Got out yesterday with xGREGx to a small Southern Michigan town that we have been doing some recon detecting in. The daylight was fading fast and for the most part all we had been digging was clad except for the stray 1917 Wheatie that came up earlier in the hunt. We had probably an hour left of good light and like I said clad was about all that we were finding when I got a good dime sound on the Explorer SE. So I marked the spot and got out my trusty Garret Pro-Pointer and checked the top of the ground and got the light tone/vibration that tells me the coin is close to the surface. Imagine my response when I opened the plug and found this 1877 Seated Dime within the first 2-3". In fact this thing was still in the grass roots and I thought that I had a Merc. that was until I seen the words "One Dime".
Man that was an unexpected find and my first 1800's coin. We have already made it our goal to hammer that place when the weather breaks. We have snow coming today so we are chomping at the bit to go soon.

Nice Coins. What would make this even better is if that 1917 Wheatie was the Double Die obverse. Might wanna check it. Sweet coins, good job!

I had someone awhile back ask me if I was interested in looking for him. I gladly stated thanks, but no thanks. Figured someone would be looking for me next if I were to answer yes. ;D

Cool find, I'm still waiting for my first 1800s coin.
A 1900 Indian head is the closest so far.
It will show when you are least expecting it, just like me.

Just exactly what attributes am I looking for? I mean, is the double die strike gonna be more prominent in the date or the figure of Lincoln or what. Definately not gonna do the potato cleaning or anything else for that matter until I know for sure what to look for. Thanks in advance.
