Hello all! I'm a newbie

I have always wanted to metal detecting for a hobby. Unfortunately a wife and house full of kids gave me no time or extra $. Now I have 1 kid left in the house I'm finally able to have time and $ .lol. been at it for about a month. Any extra time I have I'm out hunting. I live in Kokomo Indiana but from Logansport. Would much like any pointers and would like a hunting buddy!
