Hello from central California

Hi all, wife and I love metal detecting and we are interested in prospecting. We are here to learn about how to research areas properly to increase our success! We live close to the Mother Load and many historic areas related to the Gold Rush. We have learned so much browsing this forum already that I decided to join. There is still Gold in them hills and we intend to find some!

Welcome from Brownwood in central Texas! Yes, there is gold in them thar hills. I brought some of it home with me from the many months I spent mining it out of rivers and creeks in northern California.
