Hello from I’d. I have been idle from detecting for about 25+ years. I just broke out my Tesoro Golden Sabre Plus. I left batteries in the machine, and it was not pretty. Cut off the battery holder and tossed it, it was a powdery white, and some pealing paint from the acid had to be removed. So I did a complete dissassembly. After some sandpaper and paint, looks pretty good.Tomorrow a new battery holder arrives and will see if it works.I actually think it will.
