You want adventure and participation in history ??......hike the Chilkoot Pass Trail to Lake Lindeman (then the train back to Skagway if it still operates) with your metal detector--and camera. If you decide to go, I suggest you first pick up a copy of Archie Satterfield's book, Chilkoot Pass (ISBN 0-88240-109-2) or a more current edition, if published.
