Hello from Northeast TN

[joekidwell]

I'm really new here waiting to get all my panning equipment in the mail. Looking for people in this area with knowledge of the local prospecting laws.

Hello back at ya from Limestone TN. Where are you ? I'm not a prospector. I dig in the dirt but it's good to meet a local.

I live off 351 in the Chucky/Rheatown area. I have a certain place in mind just a stones throw from the NC border in the Cherokee National Forest.

I've been thinking about trying a hand on detecting here in NE Tenn. I know National Forest and TVA are off limits. The question I have where can and can't you dig here in TN?
