Hello from Ohio

Not very active in hunting, but I have been into Indian artifacts since I was a kid and hunted with my grandpa on the family farm. Learned to always have an eye to the ground. I joined to ID a very old silver coin that I found in one of the fields where we found arrowheads.

The spot where you found the silver coin, could be the tip of a cache.

Is it possible that a house once stood in that field?

At the very least, go back and look around for more, better yet take a metal detector, you might get lucky.
