Not exactly the Best place to Practice Gold Panning.
Though I Do know a Man who Takes Kids on Panning Trips/Lessons in this area

and has showed me a few specs in a Vial,
But when they are just Specs, You need to Trust they really are Gold.

The most Likely place to Find Gold in PA is in
Purchased Paydirt from Gold Prospecting areas


Or by finding & Joining a GPAA Gold Panning Club.

On the other hand You do have a Better chance of Finding Treasures with your Metal detector.
