Hello,
The picture was taken at table rock located north of Hixton, Wisconsin. For the artifact hunters the hill in the background is the famous Silver Mound quarry site used by the native Americans.

Great pic, Sidevalve :thumbsup: I think I would worry about a falling rock, probably been like that for hundreds of years.

Wow, that is quite an interesting formation there. It can make you wonder sometimes how those trees can
get enough room to grow in the cracks in the rock, like that one on your right. I'll betcha there would be
some real interesting finds in that quarry.

I just want to say hi, great pic, I really miss that part of the state. I spent alot of time in the fields around silver mound when i was at fort mccoy. Im from edgerton but my wife is from black river falls. and that is where i am going to be spending my R&R in september and i think i might just hit up silver mound up, get my mind off the war for a while cant wait
