Welcome Red,
Amateur Photographer myself. Love the digital age! I have'nt shot any 35mm in a long time.
Bought a Powershot G6 a few years ago for the wife and I ended up using it instead of my SLR's.
They had a deal on the camera and a Epson RX600 ink jet photo printer. Buy both and got a $200.00 rebate. The RX600 has the capability of scanning negatives, so I can digitize alot of old photos. Now I just need the time to do it.
