Hello my name is Austin, I'm from Gaston County NC, been metal detecting for just over a year..... Hurd about TreasureNet from Detect America on Facebook.... I'm interested posting my finds and seeing other people's finds.....I actually metal detect by myself so if anyone on here is from Gaston county nc, or surrounding areas, maybe we can hunt sometime.... I would also like to join a local metal detecting club!!!

Welcome to TNet. I am in Charlotte, just across the Catawba River.

There are several of us TNet guys that hunt around the Charlotte area together. One of the guys (Smittyman) mentioned last weekend that he wanted to go hunt in Gaston County. Charlotte sees a lot of MD pressure, so we are always looking for a place away from town to hit.
