Hello from The Netherlands. I am a nearly retired man who has just purchased a Nokta Makro Simplex + with an SP24 coil. Going to try my hand at metal detecting. Been watching many people online and hopefully have learnt plenty to get me started.

Hobby? What are you talking about?? This is a sport full of finely tuned athletes. There is a movement to have metal detecting placed in the Olympics. I get up every morning, put Eye of The Tiger on the stereo and then have my training breakfast of 3 eggs, gravy and biscuits, country ham, and grits. I am MUCH more of a man than I was twenty years ago.
