Hey everybody, Dig'em here from Southern California. I've been gold prospecting for the last 2 years, mostly with a stream sluice but have recently bought a Gold Bug2. I'm researching some clubs to join, maybe the Taft Prospectors and First Class Miners. This site seems like a treasure trove of knowledge, I hope I can contribute

Thanks everyone! I'm currently getting ready for a short prospecting trip. I think just the detector and a pan this trip. Hopefully I'll come back with something to show besides trash. It'll be a good time regardless, the shiny is just a bonus
