Hey guys. I am still sifting through my "maybe" pile and have a question about the attachment. It was dug out out of a site. To me it looks extra natural, and pecked. Maybe it's a broken piece? Maybe it is just a rock? Please let me know and I would appreciate any lessons. Thanks! IMG_1855.webpIMG_1856.webpIMG_1857.webp

In my opinion not a Celt as they usually have a very nicely shaped edge on them and a polished look. Could have been some type of grinding stone it looks to be worn similar to grinding stones I have found.

Looks like some rough rock that wouldnt hold up if banged against anything. I think its just a want to be shaped rock.

Natural rock, not a celt.

Any idea if this is a grinding stone?

we use to call them indian sex stones sorry i couldnt resist i think it is natural its hard to say if something has ever been used or not but i doubt it on those

Jay, it's not an artifact, just natural erosion on a rock.
