I have been doing some indoor teating with the Coinmaster 5000D series 2 and have noticed that the meter will only resiter to 20 intensity. Every pass under the coil on all settings reads 20 each time. I have not teated this outside yet. Should this meter bounch from 0 -100 while testing? Or is this meter broke or locked up. I just cant figure this thing out! The battery test pegs at 20 also, even when there is a battery test towards the 100 reading. All reading are hitting 20 and no higher.
???

I believe there is a small meter calibration screw in front of the meter that you can try to adjust the needle to see if it can go higher an where it locks on for the differnt coins. You can contact Whites and ask about repairs and see if you want to put the money into fixing it or investing in a newer model.

Good Luck,

I believe the needle adjustment is just to zero the needle. You might have a static build up? I don't remember the exact fix but I think it has to do with wiping a dryer sheet on the meter face? No kidding!

I did have a static build up. I was able to fix this problem and everything works GREAT now.
