I found this crude clay pipe bowl in an area today where I found several other Indian points. I'm not familiar with clay pipes or how to date them. This is the first one that I have ever found. Could it possibly be Native American as well or maybe an early trade piece? This was found just outside of Raleigh in NC. Thanks in advance for the help.

Agree trade pipe, i would think a little later, as time went on the bowls became larger and I think the pipe opening did too. Also digging into my memory, so could be a little off, but I believe all the white pipes were imported from a certain area of Britain.
