I'm no expert. Hell, I'm not even an amateur but while the subject matter is correct for an Edmund Osthaus painting, it doesn't look detailed enough when I compare it to some of his other work.

Because it is something unfinished and changed in my opinion.
I sent it somewhere it has to many things to make it possibly his including being found in ohio
