delta 4000 / ace 250 - used BH and many others too
it looks like cavalry sabers to me -- which are curved --8 would be the unit number as in.... the 8 th cavalry regiment which took part in the indain wars --for a while some were in nearby Oregon * from its small size I 'd say a cuff or collar or hat (side) button
